Journals, books, pamphlets, information leaflets, lists of literature, etc. all provide information in the 'classic' manner on Germany, German culture and the different services available with organisations working in the field of cultural exchange. You will find these arranged according to respective medium, i.e. journals, books and other publications such as pamphlets, posters, etc.

Some of these publications are more suited either to the teacher or the learner. Assistance equipping libraries is offered too. Limits on orders for specific publications as well as the possible costs and/or postage involved will be found on the homepage of the relevant organisation. Here you will also find information concerning practice and research in the respective field.

'InfoDaF'/Informationen 'Deutsch als Fremdsprache' appears six times a year and provides information on teaching methods, materials, etc. (in German only)

More than 600 books, pamphlets, posters, audio and video materials etc. produced by the Goethe-Institut and other organisations. May be ordered online.

Foreign school and college libraries as well as scientists are entitledto receive material support in the form of German literature.

Materials for regional studies in connection with German as a Foreign Language (DAF) (in German)

Schools, universities, colleges, teachers' training institutions, Goethe Institutes, specialists in the field, DAAD lecterers, embassies and Consulates-General are entiteled to receive didactic materials - largely free of charge. These now also include the new television language course 'Einblicke' plus accompanying self-study materials.

Appearing twice a year, this journal provides information on the latest developments and discusses intercultural questions in German.

Printed in eleven foreign languages and distributed in 180 countries, the newspaper "Deutschland" belongs to the most internationally read magazines about Germany. "Deutschland" reports on current topics and developments in Germany and Europe as well as on bilateral developments between Germany and other world-regions. "Deutschland" is published every two months by the Societäts-Verlag, Frankfurt am Main, in cooperation with the Federal Foreign Office, Berlin.

The "Akzente"-Basics appear in German four times a year and each focuses a specific country or sector. Additionally, there are several "Akzente"-specials in different languages. (From 1998 on in pdf-format; older editions out of print.)

The IBS at InWEnt is a central German service center on behalf of the Federal Ministry for Education and Research. It informes and gives advice concerning all questions on further vocational training abroad. Entitled „Weiterbildung ohne Grenzen“ ("Further education without frontiers"), it publishes an annual booklet listing 170 offers on further training by more than 70 organisations. Information on the different programmes are accessible on a database (website in German).
