The website Learning German issued by the German Wave (Radio Broadcasting) offers a wide range of language courses for learning German as a foreign language. The online-course German - Why not? (Deutsch - Warum nicht?) a co-production with the Goethe-Institute addresses itself to beginners and advanced learners. The course covers levels A1 to B1 of the European Framework of Reference for Languages. The monolingual language course Why not so? (Deutsch - Wieso nicht?) addresses itself to advanced learners of the German language. Covering level B1 of the European Framework of Reference for Languages this online-course will help you to solidify and expand your current knowledge of German. The website German XXL (only available in German) offers a wide range of training opportunities for the German language in everyday use (amongst others training your listening comprehension). The language course Market Place - Business German addresses itself to language learners having already acquired a solid basic knowledge in the German language. Covering level B2 of the European Framework of Reference for Languages it will equip you with the appropriate German vocabulary to feel comfortable in a variety of business-related situations. The "Sprachbar"-website (only available in German) offers explanations to headlines of the daily press, quotations from belles lettres literature, idiomatic expressions, German grammar etc. The website "The News - spoken slowly" provides learners of the German language with the German Wave's everyday 11 o'clock radio news in an especially arranged programme (website in German).
