Exhibition Transfers

Great importance is attached to exhibition transfers in order to allow as many exhibition visitors as possible to come into contact with the latest developments in art from other cultures. Projects that are already being planned by a number of institutions working together increase the chances of widening the audience for international cultural discourse and of having a lasting effect both at home and abroad.

Art from Germany

is promoted by the Institut für Auslandsbeziehungen (ifa). Currently there are about 70 exhibitions and smaller group exhibitions. Tours may be arranged through the German Missions Abroad or through the Goethe Institutes abroad.

Art from Africa, Asia and Latin America

is promoted by the "Haus der Kulturen der Welt" ("House of the Cultures of the World"), Berlin.

Representative contemporary and historical exhibitions which generally require a large exhibition space. The organisers are keen to receive proposals for collaborative projects from institutions both in the Federal Republic and throughout Europe.

Institut für Auslandsbeziehungen (ifa) and the ifa-Galerie Stuttgart.

Predominantly monographic and smaller group exhibitions. Also less frequently seen branches of architecture and design are available. The organisers are keen to receive proposals for collaborative projects from institutions both in Germany and throughout Europe.

Art from Central, South-East and Eastern Europe
