Association of International Cooperation (VIZ)
Purpose/Activities
The Association for International Cooperation (VIZ) is an union of the intermediary organisations for foreign culture policy operating in the field of foreign culture and information policy, the academic exchange and the development service and which are sponsored with public funds. Including:
die Alexander von Humboldt Foundation (AvH),
der German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD),
der German Development Service (DED),
das Goethe Institute (GI),
das House of World Cultures (HKW),
das Institute for Foreign Cultural Relations (ifa),
die Capacity Building International (InWEnt).
The Association for International Cooperation intends to improve the cooperation between the members among themselves and with the responsible governmental and non- governmental bodies in the national and international sector.
