Circle of Political Youth (RPJ)
Purpose/Activities
The Circle of Political Youth (RPJ) is a federation of political youth associations in Germany on federal and communal level. Members of the federal RPJ are Jusos (SPD), Junge Union (CDU/CSU), Grüne Jugend (Grüne) and Junge Liberale (FDP). In several Federal States ’solid is the admitted youth organisation of the WASG and Linkspartei, alongside there is the non-partisan JungdemokratInnen/Junge Linke.
One of the functions of the RPJ is
to interest and to educate adolescent citizen in politic and to include them in active political cooperation.
In the fields related to foreign countries the single associations carry out
bi- and multilateral youth programmes as well as international meetings and participate in international umbrella organisations.
