Purpose / Activities

At present, there are 232 AAAs at German universities, in charge of 'interna-tional measures', i.e.:

coordination of uni-versity cooperation projects (information, contracting in cooperation with Deans and Departments, practical and administrative management)

consulting services to German students who wish to study abroad

care for and assis-tance to foreign students (including those on scholarships) in Germany

matriculation tests before the start of every term

holiday and language courses for foreign students
