Purpose/ Activities

The Association for International Cooperation (VIZ) is an union of the intermediary organisations for foreign culture policy operating in the field of foreign culture and information policy, the academic exchange and the development service and which are sponsored with public funds. Including:

the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation (AvH)

the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD)

the German Development Service (DED)

the Goethe Institute (GI)

the House of World Cultures (HKW)

the Institute for Foreign Cultural Relations (ifa)

the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ)

The Association for International Cooperation intends to improve the cooperation between the members among themselves and with the responsible governmental and non- governmental bodies in the national and international sector.
