Purpose/Activities

Statutory purposes: '… promotion of scientific and technological research and education; promotion of the next generation of scientists and engineers in close co-operation with the self-administrative bodies of science'.

Activities (international):

subsidising model projects of international scientific co-operation (e.g. follow-up contacts with foreign research scholars of the AvH)

promoting international research conferences

general subsidising (without project specification) to AvH, DAAD, DFG, MPG and the Studienstiftung des deutschen Volkes.
