Purpose/Activities

 

The German-French Youth Office (DFJW) has the task to strengthen ties between young German and French and to deepen the mutual understanding.

 

Therefore it is engaged in the following fields:

encountering of groups,

school class exchange,

working stays,

sport meetings,

town twinning,

non-school language promotion,

pedagogical education,

research and others.

 

The DFJW works together with

youth organisations,

sports clubs,

speech centre,

vocational training institutions,

trade-unions,

schools and universities,

communities and

partnership committees

and assists its partners with subsidy and conceptional support in the realisation of the programmes.
