Purpose/Activities

 

The German Foundation for Peace and Research is a non-profit institution of civil law of political and financial independence. It aims to promote in particular in Germany peace research in its external and security-political relevance and for this reason to contribute to its political and financial independence.

 

The activities of the foundation comprehend:

support and initiation of scientific projects,

realisation of national and international scientific conferences,

support of young academics.

 

The German Foundation for Peace and Research doesn’t organise by itself scientific analyses, but it works together with other academic institutions within and outside of the Federal Republic of Germany and promotes the relations between Germany and the European countries.
