• European Youth Exchange

Purpose/Activities

The German National Committee for International Youth Services (DNK), a syndicate of the German Federal Youth Council, the German Sport’s Youth and the Circle of Political Youth, is representing the interests of the German youth organisation in the multilateral field.

The DNK works out agreements on joint international projects by the German Federal Youth Council and the Circle of Political Youth but is not a coordinating agency for bilateral youth relations. These are coordinated separately by the organisations mentioned above.

Activities in detail:

working with the codetermination bodies of the youth institutions of the Council of Europe, the European Youth Centres (EYC) and the European Youth Forum (Youth Forum Jeunesse (YFJ)),

involvement in some bilateral and interregional activities of the European Youth Forum,

sending delegates to the World Youth Forum of the United Nations,

working with the Lake Constance Cooperation (Austrian Federal Youth Ring, Swiss Working Group of Youth Associations and DNK) which regularly organise joint seminars,

working with the youth organisations of the Baltic countries in the framework of the Baltic Youth Forum.
