Pupose/Activities

This registered association supports German schools abroad which do not receive adequate public funds and otherwise would not be able to develop its schooling potential to the full extent.

The FDA cooperates with German firms established abroad, the German Chambers of Commerce based in other countries, German embassies, the Foreign Office and the Central Office for German Schools Abroad. The FDA not only supports recognised private schools, but also schools of German-speaking minorities and company schools.

Activities in detail:

providing teaching material for use in the field of general education,

coordinating funding campaigns for special projects; passing on specific-purpose donations from companies to German schools abroad,

informing German companies (members and sponsors) about the work of German schools abroad.
