Purpose/Activities

The German Study Centre in Venice is an interdisciplinary association which supports post-graduate research on the city of Venice and the regions of northern Italy.

In addition the institution offers young artists who work on a Venetian theme the chance of a study period in Venice.

The support takes the form of fellowship grants and free accommodation in the association's seat, an old Venetian palazzo.

The German Study Centre's regular programme includes lectures, symposia, concerts and exhibitions.
