Purpose/Activities

The Atelier Ludwigsburg-Paris is a year-long higher education programme for graduates of film schools or universities as well as young employees in the film industry. The course comprises workshops, seminars and case studies and is held by lecturers currently working in the relevant fields. At the end of the course the participants produce a programme of short films in cooperation with ARTE. They also attend the film festivals at Angers, Berlin and Cannes.

Participants from all European countries can apply, they should not be older than thirty years of age. Preference is given to those applicants with suitable practical experience. The instruction is lectured in German, French and English.

The organisation of the programme is incumbent on the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg in Ludwigsburg and La fémis in Paris.
