Purpose/Activities

 

AFS is a non-commercial, non-profit NGO that offers various youth exchange programms (student exchange, volunteer programs abroad) with over 50 countries worldwide. In Germany over 3.700 volunteers working in over 100 chapters form the core of the AFS's work.

Aim of AFS is to promote the development of intercultural skills and to improve the international understanding.

AFS is cooperating with organisations in more than 50 countries.
