International Federation of Arts Councils and Culture Agencies (IFACCA)

Purpose/Activities

 

The International Federation of Arts Councils and Culture Agencies (IFACCA) is the global network of arts councils and ministries of culture. It aims to benefit artists, arts organisations and communities worldwide and intends a dynamic network, sharing knowledge and creating understanding to enrich a world of artistic and cultural diversity.

 

Its objectives are:

to strength the capacity of arts councils and national culture agencies to meet the challenges and opportunities of globalisation and technological change,

to consolidate the collective knowledge of arts councils and culture agencies,

to build networks, promote understanding and enhance cooperation between arts councils and national arts agencies,

to encourage support for arts practice and cultural diversity,

to create and maintain a supple and accountable organisation.
