The German Bundestag and the Berlin universities award to university graduates from Central, Eastern and South Eastern Europe, France, Israel as well as the USA traineeships in line with the International Parliamentary Internships (IPS) with the objective to encourage the relationship between Germany and the partner country, to strengthen democratic worth, tolerance and understanding of cultural diversity as well as to contribute to a peaceful coexistence in the world.

With the US-German Internship Program the American Chamber of Commerce in Germany (AmCham Germany) Association gives students from the United States the possibility of a three-month internship in Germany. The traineeships are in German companies and give insights in German economy and culture to the students.
