Information for Student Groups

The following programmes are directed to student groups and higher education institutions. Through contact between German and foreign higher education institutions the cooperation should strengthened and the international relations intensified.

The German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) promotes study trips and study placements of foreign student groups in Germany under the direction of professors. The aided time of stay lasts between seven and twelve days. The aim of the support is the acquainting of specialised knowledge and placements as well as the meeting with German students and scientists.

A special furtherance provides the DAAD to student groups from abroad for extern external-link-new-window "Opens external link in new window">concert and choir trips in Germany.

The German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) promotes with the programme Higher Education Partnership the mobility of students, graduates and professors. With the programme German-Arab/Iranian Higher Education Dialogue it supports higher education partnership projects focusing the cultural dialogue with the Islamic world.
