The Central Agency for Schools Abroad (ZfA) attends about 1900 employees at German Schools Abroad. Including

The Central Agency for Schools Abroad (ZfA) offers at its internet pages a roundup of allowances according in line with the available budget funds for teachers abroad and federal programme teachers.

The Association of German Teachers Abroad (VdLiA) caters for the professional, legal and social interests of the teachers abroad and offers political-cultural and educational information and training events. Quaterly it publishes the magazine Der deutsche Lehrer im Ausland that forwards free of charge to its members.

The German Schools Abroad are united in the World Federation of German Schools Abroad (WDA) which represents its interests. Beside current events of the particular schools, competitions and press reports the WDA offers on its "Litfaßsäule" special information for schools, scholars and graduates.
