The Central Agency for Schools Abroad (ZfA) attends about 1900 employees at German Schools Abroad. Including

teachers abroad,

federal programme teachers,

The Central Agency for Schools Abroad (ZfA) offers at its internet pages a roundup of allowances according in line with the available budget funds for teachers abroad and federal programme teachers.

The Association of German Teachers Abroad (VdLiA) caters for the professional, legal and social interests of the teachers abroad and offers political-cultural and educational information and training events. In 38 countries expert advisers organise further trainings for local teachers of the host countries, counsel the German departments of the schools, coordinate awarding of scholarships and work together in advisory capacity with the education administrations of the host countries. Furthermore they redound to the networking of the Deutsches Sprachdiplom’s (DSD) schools in the several countries.

The German-Speaking Professional Education (DFU) is addressed to all that who supports the Germand language abroad. On its internet side the DFU provides various materials for further training and public relations.

The local further training in line with the Teacher Deployment Programme offers all placed teachers and a corresponding number of local teacher working in education institutions which are promoted of the German Federal Republic an annual further training of several days' duration.
