The GIZ Information and Learning centre provides information in the field of development cooperation, development countries and global structural policy. Commissioned by the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development, the Documentation Centre and Library acts as a mediator of knowledge and information for the benefit of public and private institutions and persons active in the field of German development cooperation. Furthermore, it helps to strengthen public approval of development policy objectives in Germany.

Its services in the provision of information and knowledge are:

development studies library,

information on institutions,

information via internet,

search and profile services,

publications section.

The Documentation Centre and Library is open to anyone interested and to organisations, academic institutions and firms.
