Kunstvermittlung in der Migrationsgesellschaft

Wie kann eine Kunstvermittlung aussehen, die die Vorstellungen von "Kultur" und "Bildung" innerhalb der Institution selbst befragt und mitgestaltet? Inwieweit gibt die Vermittlungsarbeit Impulse für eine Veränderungen im institutionellen Selbstverständnis? Diese Fragen will die Arbeitstagung in Workshops zur Diskussion stellen und KunstvermittlerInnen ein Forum bieten, sich mit Akteuren aus Theorie und Praxis darüber auszutauschen um eine gemeinsamen Perspektive für eine Kunstvermittlung in der Migrationsgesellschaft zu entwickeln. "Short Cuts" geben Einblick in aktuelle Praxisprojekte aus Berlin, Linz und Zürich.

European Capitals of Culture

A conference and a workshop on the topic of the European Capitals of Culture (ECoC) in cooperation with "A Soul for Europe".The conference on 27 May aims at continuing the process of consultation about the future of European Cities of Culture, to give voice to the aspirations and ideas of the cities in the regions who would like to apply for ECoC after 2019, the development of international contacts and networks on the topic of the ECoC and the confirmation of the role of Sofia as an active regional player.

DW-AKADEMIE: Bloggerkonferenz "Young Media Summit"

Arabische und deutsche Blogger diskutieren und bloggen zum Thema "Neue Medien und Reform in der arabischen Welt" mit abschließender öffentlicher Podiumsdiskussion. Zusätzlich wird das arabische Fernsehen der Deutschen Welle, DW-TV ARABIA, eine einstündige Talkshow produzieren. Darin werden arabische und deutsche Konferenzteilnehmer mit einem jungen Publikum diskutieren. Die Sendung wird am 27. Mai 2011 auf DW-TV ARABIA ausgestrahlt.

The main aim of this 'working meeting' is to give OTM members and those culture sector organisations which run the mobility pilot projects and some other major mobility support projects, the possibility to discuss amongst themselves the following issues: - what are the concrete outcomes of the mobility projects for artists and culture operators? - how can the culture sector better coordinate to ensure outcomes are widely spread within the sector and sustained beyond the project period?  - how can the culture sector best coordinate for future mobility support projects to ensure meaningful complementarities?

Arbeitskonsultation der bundesweiten Koalition Kulturelle Vielfalt ist eine Zusammenstellung von Beiträgen, die darstellen soll, wie die UNESCO-Konvention zur Vielfalt kultureller Ausdrucksformen in Kulturpolitik, Kultur und Entwicklung, Kulturpraxis, Capacity Building, Informationsaustausch und internationaler Zusammenarbeit umgesetzt werden kann. Bis Frühjahr 2012 wird die Bundesrepublik Deutschland – gemeinsam mit weiteren 94 Vertragsparteien – erstmalig einen Umsetzungsbericht vorlegen.
